Directions & Parking

The Half-Marathon is a one way 13.1 Mile run that starts at Redmond Town Center in Redmond and finishes at Lake Sammamish Park in Issaquah.

Parking, Check-In and  Start – Redmond Town Center

We’ll have shuttles waiting at the finish line at Lake Sammamish State Park to take you back to Redmond Town Center. Shuttles are included in the entry fee. If you have family/friends that want to cheer you on or pick you up at the finish, there is plenty of parking at Lake Sammamish State Park, but a Discover Pass is required for access to the park.

There is plenty of parking at Redmond Town Center. However, so that everyone is not trying to enter from the same direction, we suggest:

  • cars with license plates ending in an even number  enter from the west, use the north parking area off N.E. 76th St
  • cars with license plates ending in an odd number enter from the east, use the southwest parking area off N.E. 73rd Way

Entering from the West

  • From SR520 eastbound, take exit to W. Lake Sammamish Parkway N.E.
  • At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left
  • Go north to the traffic light at Leary Way
  • Turn right onto Leary Way
  • Turn right onto N.E. 76th St.
  • Turn right into the north parking structure

Entering from the East

  • From SR520 eastbound, take exit to Hwy 202/Redmond Way
  • At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Redmond Way
  • Turn left onto 170th Ave. N.E.
  • Continue onto Bear Creek Parkway
  • Turn right onto 164th Ave. N.E.
  • Turn left onto N.E. 73rd Way, then right into the parking structure

Runner Dropoff Option

There is plenty of parking at Redmond Town Center; runners may be dropped off anywhere.

For directions to the Finish, use “2000 Northwest Sammamish Rd, Issaquah, WA”

Packet Pickup

Pre-race Packet Pickup

Check back later for details.

Required Documents

You will need photo ID in order to pick up your packet (both at pre-race pickup and on race day).

You can have someone else pick up your packet for you if they have:

  • a copy of your photo id: either hard copy or on phone
  • written authorization from you

In an effort to help our local communities reduce waste, we’ve decided to forego plastic bags and instead provide “virtual” swag. You’ll still be getting great discounts on other local races, as well as discounts from our great sponsors. But instead of handing out printed flyers in plastic bags, we’ll be sending a special email to all registrants with links to discounts on race gear and race entries. The best part: no plastic bags to throw away!

Parking (Bellevue Road Runner)

Parking at Road Runner Bellevue is very limited. We’ll have parking monitors stationed at the lot entrances to help you.  Please carpool or use public transportation if possible.

Update: we’ve been able to secure additional parking in the office park just east of Road Runner Sports (see map).

Registration Confirmation

If you can’t find your registration confirmation email, check our online confirmation list.

Race Day Pickup

You may also pick up your packet on race day. If you choose this option, please allow plenty of time for transportation and parking.

We love nature and we’re very passionate about preserving this beautiful place we live in. We run our races with zero waste in mind and we try very hard to reduce, reuse and recycle to cut down waste.

  • We provide recycling bins on site for paper, plastic, glass as well as compost bins to collect food scraps.
  • We partner with other events to share supplies such as tents, signage, cones, etc.
  • We buy food in bulk to minimize packaging, and we don’t use disposable bags in our shopping trips.
  • We use bio-degradable cleaning agents and hand sanitizers made of all natural, non-chemical based ingredients that are gentle on the planet.
  • We use signs and clip on streams that are reused from race to race.
  • We communicate almost exclusively with the race community via email and online newsletters to reduce paper waste.
  • We work with volunteer organizations such as the Washington Trails Association, Friends of Capitol Forest, Friends of Lord Hill and rangers to maintain and build new trails.
  • We encourage carpooling.

Being green is something we care deeply about and we continuously learn and improve the process as we go. If you have any suggestions for optimization please do send it our way!
